Surely you see the trouble and the sorrow :
you look on, and will take it into your own hands.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
Ooh, is it even possible, to trust God in times of sorrow?
Are we not afraid?
The Kingdom of Anxiety is all too real...
And yet.
Then the prophet
Miriam, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women
went out after her with tambourines and with dancing.
And Miriam sang to them:
‘Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
horse and rider he has thrown into the sea.’
